Tuesday General Session

If you thought Monday’s General Session gave a nod to old Hollywood, today was a peek into the future! Company leaders talked about returning to business as normal, servicing exceeded warranties and recent upgrades to the Contractor Portal. Product highlights included Duro-Shield® coatings, the popularity and growth of Duro-Last XTM, and how insulation can lead to using less product and labor. We also introduced the following new products and solutions:

  • Duro-Last Solvent-Grip® Plus, a solvent sprayable adhesive which is compatible with ALL our non-fleece membranes, including Duro-Last® EV. This will be available in the spring.

  • Duro-Last® Elvaloy® 80 mil membrane, which is in addition to the 50 and 60 mil non-fleece already available.

  • Duro-Last® Elvaloy® 60 and 80 mil 5.5 oz fleece, an increase compared to the 3.8 oz standard Duro-Fleece®.

  • Powerblanket adhesive heating options keep adhesives warm in the cooler weather. Bucket, cylinder or tote heaters and more are available in the Tool Catalog in the Contractor Portal.

Tuesday’s General Session was headlined by keynote speaker Ryan Estis, who gave us relevant, actionable steps we can take to improve our businesses. He reminded us the customer experience is part of your brand, just like the roof you install.

Four Project Awards were also recognized during Tuesday’s General Session. Great Lakes Roofing was presented with the 2022 Specialty Membrane Award for its work at Treetops Resort in Gaylord, Mich. PMR Roofing was presented the 2022 Metal Roof Award for its work restoring the Val Verde Courthouse in Del Rio, Texas.
